Community Engagement Action Plan to Sustain and Expand the Reforested Sites Across Lebanon

Objectives:

Following the work that has been done during the first phase of the project (trees planting on private and municipal lands), the objective of the second phase of the project is to engage local communities in sustaining and expanding their reforested sites through planning, designing and implementing forestry activities

Role:

Mada is in charge of facilitating 10 roundtables held in 10 rural communities where LRI is actively engaged in reforestation efforts. The main outcome in each roundtable is a drafted community engagement action plan, whereby community- led programs could be replicated.
